McKay: Angeline was catching me up on all the lingo the kids use these days.

Me: Like "totes"?

McKay: No, like how the shorten words. . . oh, yeah. Like "totes".

Me: "That's totes awesome".

McKay: Why?

Me: No, I'm just using it in a sentence. As an example.

McKay: Oh. Yeah. And I guess they say "'maze" for amazing.

Me: I say "maze-balls" sometimes.

McKay: Wait, what? Why?

Me: I don't know. Why do I say anything?

McKay: [walking away, shaking his head] I don't know about you sometimes.
