Question.

I have a burning question. One that has been plaguing me the last few months. A question that has kept me up more than one night. This question is: what to do about wedding favors?
I know it's not a necessity. I know it's silly to obsess about it. But still, at least once a week I go on a mad internet hunt to find the perfect wedding favor. I don't really want to do anything that is just going to get praised for its cuteness for about thirty seconds, then thrown away because its useless and weird to keep around. So, the best option seems to be food. My favorite idea so far is fortune cookies, because I love to ask my fortune cookie a question before I crack it open. Usually hilarity ensues (like the time Cara asked hers if she was gonna get married. Result? Empty fortune cookie. Never seen that before!) and it's good fun.
So, anyway, I want to know what you think! Have you been to any weddings with awesome favors? Do you know of any cute websites to look for them? Any ideas at all?
Please? Pretty please?

  1. For my professor turned friend's wedding we made 8 jillion little magnets out of those clear jem things that you put into fish tanks. I thought it would be cheesy but they turned out so darling. I kept them on my fridge for years (until they fell off and broke and one fell into water and got ruined).
I LOVE the fortune cookie idea. I think the little story about the questions should be included. It is so cute. then it could be a favor and a game!

    I love it!
