McKay is good at many things. He is also knowledgeable about many things that my brain will never be able to grasp, no matter how many times he explains it to me. Like what fluorocarbons are. Or why that's important. But one thing he is not so great at, is pop culture.
ME: You know, everyone seems to love Ryan Reynolds, but he's just not my favorite.
MCKAY: What? We watched one of his movies just the other day! You were going on about how versatile he is.
ME: What? When was this?
MCKAY: You know. . . Drive?
ME: That's Ryan GOSLING. Not Ryan Reynolds.
MCKAY: Oh. Well, they're both brunettes.
ME: Oh, dear.
And THAT, my friends, is why McKay will never win the pink slice of the Trivial Pursuit pie.
